O/T sort of! - Mauritius

Bittersweet, 11 January, 2011 at 22:34 Posted on Honeymoons & Getting Married Abroad 0 2

Hi all

Me and my H2B are going on holiday to Mauritius this year and was wondering if anyone had been to Mauritius before and what's the best type of currency to take?

Any clarification would be gratefully recieved!

    Hi Kate,

My dad is actually from Mauritius so I have been there plenty of times. It is a gorgeous place and I'm sure you will LOVE it. The currency is rupees, not sure what the exchange rate is at the moment.

I'm going in June! I've read something about taking Euro's as well as Ruppees? Apparently some of the places like paying in Euro's?
