OT - Sylvanian Family Help Needed!!

Evening all!

I need some help please...My niece would like sylvanian family babies for xmas. I've looked on the argos website and can only see complete families or little twin chocolate dalmations.

I'm not a mum myself and don't know anything about sylvanian families anymore, although I used to love playing with them when I was little!! ?

Anyway, does anyone who perhaps has children or more sylvanian knowledge know which sylvanian animals are current faves/popular with little ones and where is the best or cheapest place to get them - the babies specifically?!!

Cant help on up to date ones, but I had them as a child and LOVED them!! Still have loads somewhere, with all the house furniture and everything too!!! My granddad made a big dolls house for them all to live in, which I still have and hope to pass onto my children someday.

Oooh not really sure but I do know that OH's 5 yr old niece got some for her birthday in June so I will try and find out for you. I'm like you Moya, I was mega excited when I saw them! Brought back some childhood memories... aaahh

Our local oy shop has LOADS im not sure if they are online? THE TOY SHOP MELKSHAM / TROWBRIDGE i think they are a toymaster shop.

You could also try TOYS R US they have them too, my 11 year old son keeps badgering me for them!! he does have Asperger syndrome and learning difficulties x

My 4yr old cousin asked for the mice and the rabbits for her birthday a few months ago. she also wanted the beauty salon to go with them. and the caravan. and the car.

They are cute and some of the accessories that you can get are lovely. I used to have a bakery and school...absolutely loved them!

Anyway, my sister just phoned and my neice already has baby kittens and baby mice. Apparently Toys R us sell lots of them. Is there anywhere cheaper? I wonder if the Bay of E sells genuine ones cheaper. Oh well, they're not too expensive anyway just for the babies but xmas is such an expensive time!
