Paper Bouquet **Flashes but not for Wedding**

babybl00, 16 March, 2012 at 10:54 Posted on Planning 0 2

For those planning on making a paper bouquet, some flashes! I am crafty and love the idea of a paper bouquet, especially as we are planning a winter wedding. I got to making some flowers this week for practice (not my colours, just for fun) and decided to put them to good use by making a bouquet for my gran for Mother's Day. It's not perfect as I didn't make enough big flowers but I'm pleased with how it turned out and it's something to start from. I made all the flowers from paper and any embellishments were just rubbish I had lying around.

I made three different types of roses, origami flowers, little white and lemon simple flowers and put into a styrofoam ball thing (some I added into place with cocKtail sticks and some I just glue gunned directly into place. If I was making a wedding bouquet I would use florist wire and bend the flowers into place rather than the ball. I would also take a bit more time with the presentation of the little things. Anyhow, just wanted to show how easy it was for those thinking of attempting it.
