Parents - what the bloomin' heck are Go Go's?

Janna, 18 March, 2009 at 08:17 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 13

My reception year son is banging on about them and Google is only giving me Gogo's, the band. ?

What are they and where are they sold?

Oh, and why do I feel a million years old right now? ?

    Gogos crazy bones!

i think i may love them more than the children do

little collectable figures with stickers - play a kind of marbles/jacks game in the playground and do swaps - the whole school is obsessed with them

have discovered i can also get them to do any maths homework using gogos - bonus

Beware - they keep bringing new sets out - onto the third lot now ?

you get 3 gogo's and 3 stickers in each pack - i bought the kids the sticker album and they pool their stickers to put in ?

the whole school is gogo crazy ? sadly C seemed to start it in his class....

My 7 year old cousin is obsessed with them. Basically they're bit of plastic that you use to flick at your oponents bit of plastic and whichever ones falls over is the looser.

I got to have a game of GOGos with him when i visited my nan's house.

When i was little the craze was POGs and Tazos so they're probably a similar kind of thing.

I bought my nephews some from WHSmith, my nephew actually got the GoGo tin with lots more gogo's in for his birthday but MissSun likes to play with them, thank goodness she's not into collecting anything yet.

Apparently the keep some children amused for hours - that's got to be a good thing lol!

Lots of schools are banning them due to the bickering they cause. So just like Garbage Pail Kids of our time.

I feel left out! Although I did just ask my big two and they told me exactly what they were. Suppose I'm lucky that they haven't wanted any ?

Yep, we've banned them - we have to ban anything like that, usually because of stealing and bickering.

I've been introduced to the lovely world of Gogos this week

DS has been boring his friends (with their permission) and desperately wants his own
