I love this sort of tea. I would have bread sticks and dip, one of those nice breads you put in the oven, maybe some cous cous or rice, mozzaerella balls and I also love spring rolls.

Oh my God, I love party food.

I like to have indian selection. Mini samosas, onion bhajis etc.

Breaded cheese of some sort too.

    And crisps, loads of crisps.

Deffo pakora, spring rolls and some sort of breaded cheese and mushrooms. MF loves the breaded prawn type nasties... ?

Cheese, biscuits, bread and crisps/dips is a whole different tea in my opinon!

I plan to eat this sort of shizz all over the holidays.

We do Mexican party food, so empanadas, chipotle potato skins, lime quorn tacos and bits like that.

As OH doesn't eat eggs, I don't like meat traditional party foods don't work for us!

Whenever we do anything like this we go for a selection of cheeses, pickled onions, chutneys, crackers, pate, breads, parma ham, salami, and a bit of salad.

I love this stuff. we call it buffet tea as it's usually left over from a party buffet.

Maybe I will... Have to get H to get the bloody oven fixed first though, so I can cook the vast quantities of mini sausage rolls/pigs in blankets that would be essential for such a feast.

We will be doing this on saturday after putting the tree up with the kids. Baileys, Elf and party food. Spring rolls, chicken dippers, some sort of prawn selection, onion rings, breaded mushrooms, cold pizza, quiche, chips n dips and possibly some sort of potato things, smileys or something.

Yes there are only 4 of us and what?!

I don't think I've had a proper party food tea. We sometimes have bread/crackers, cheese, chutney, dips and crisps tea but not hot food. A whole new way to do it!

Someone mentioned nachos! I loooove nachos. Any excuse for nachos for tea. I'm so doing this at the weekend!

    Not had one before ☹️

Being vegan though it makes it difficult.

I can have homemade pakora - and I must say my pakoras are awesome ?, but everything else tends to have egg/dairy. Even quorn is a no go for me as it's fed on egg, they're currently trialling vegan quorn in America..so it my be on our shores soon! Though to be fair I don't really eat meat substitutes just vegetables.

There is no way I could eat food in my living room. I have a VERY expensive brand new carpet and the thought of food being spilled onto it makes my OCD go into overdrive. I have a strictly no food in the living room rule.
