PDA Card and Craft - Help!

Kateoxley, 30 July, 2014 at 07:31 Posted on Planning 0 1

Hi All. After reading many of your posts I am starting to make my own invites and was thinking of usingf PDA - however I am getting very confused my the website.. I want pocketfolds and then to make my own but does anyone else find the website confusing? Also in terms of printing my own text on the inserts can i use my own printer for this and just re adjust the paper size? Thanks! x

Hi - yes the website can be tricky to navigate but you'll get there. You need to look for blank pocket folds and then the paper. Do make sure you get a good quality fairly heavy paper though as that will give you the quality finish. If you want to say exactly what you want and I'lltry and find them on PDA for you and give you the link.

For your printer - yes you'd just set up the paper size. You need to ensure your printer can do either custom size which you set up or the paper size you want as not all do. But there's more than one way to do this if your printer only prints standard sizes. I used DL which is a third of a sheet of A4, but for the paper inserts I used A4 paper onto which I printed 3 copies and then cut with a guillotine. Depends how critical the expert cut is. I got them to cut the card and I've cut the paper. hth

I actually emailed the company and they were brilliant guiding me to exactly what I needed, even after my garbled email!
