Perfume or no perfume!?

FlickAndZeb, 9 April, 2013 at 00:23 Posted on Planning 0 15

Are you going to wear it or not?

I don't wanna be an overly stinky perfume-y bride on my wedding day but at the same time I don't wanna not wear any and be a whole different kind of stinky!

If you are wearing some are you finding a new scent especially for that day or wearing your 'signature'? xXx

    Definitely perfume!

I chose a new smell, so I always associate that perfume with my wedding.

Just gonna bung on the normal stuff. Plus a DAMN GOOD deodorant for all that fear / dancing sweat.

Lots of perfume! I'm having fun sniffing out a special new scent at the moment. I want to find something unique for the day and different to my usual.

I wore Christian Dior, J'adore as it's my favourite and it's blumming expensive so I hardly ever wear it. I love smelling it now as it reminds me of my day.

Scent is so incredibly evocative. It is nice to have something new that you always associate with your day, and I think it is just as nice to wear your usual fragrance that both you and OH will find subliminally comforting too!

But either way, Im thinking deffo yes to perfume.

    Hi,

How about one of the delicate Philosophy range, such as Baby Grace.

I would probably just have gone for my normal 'going out' perfume but I like the idea of having a wedding perfume so I'll probably do that. I've got nearly a year to sniff out something nice, preferably on sale!

Perfume is incredibly evocative for me, and I love heavier scents. I'm on the hunt at the moment but nothing can top Vivienne Westwood's Boudoir which is already heavily associated with my mum as she wears it on special occasions.

    Hi all,

this is good for thought. I was going to wear my fave Dior addict, but I love the idea of having a new be which will spark the memory of my day.

it just so happens I'm in town tomorrow.. House of Fraser...?.. I will be having a good hunt for a new ' wedding scent'

Thanks for your replies Ladies ?

That's made my mind up! I usually wear Ralph Lauren 'Ralph' which is quite a fresh scent but would like something more feminine/sexy for the wedding. For my H2B of course! Next time I'm in town I think I will have a sniff at some and see which ones I really like!
