I just ordered cheap dressing gowns in the Debenhams sale and diamante words from Debenhams - seemed a cheaper way of doing it!

I got mine from eBay too.

However, I have recently found a lady who is a mens' alterations tailor by trade, but also does one-off bits of personalisation embroidery for a couple of quid. She has one of those computers linked up to an embroidery machine thing, she just types in what you would like, chooses the font/size/thread and colour and clicks 'go!' Could be worth seeing if someone like this is local to you as you could get any type/style/size of dressing gown from Primark/Matalan and then get them personalised yourself.

But if not, eBay always gets my vote.

I got my gowns from Primark! They look lovely and got iron on transfers from Amazon. Worked out at £11 per gown! xx

That's a great idea loulabelle! Think I might do that and give them to my bridesmaids as part of their gifts.

I bought some mine from pure-treats and they are lovely! I opted for the kimono ones for my BMs and the waffle one for myself as it was a bit longer (im a taller bride). The quality was lovely and Christine was so helpful!

OP, thanks for reminding me that this was on my list of things to sort out!

I've seen the site before but had hesitated to buy without a recommendation, so thank you for this Lisa - I've just ordered my dressing gown and 2 t-shirts! Thank you for the info you sent in the week about my BM jewellery too - I'll email you back soon, at least I now know how many BMs I've got!
