Petticoat confusion - please help!

Lawlawb, 28 June, 2012 at 13:28 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hi all,

I have my first dress fitting next weekend (7th July) and I completely forgot about my petticoat / hoop!!

I'm now looking online for one and found a decent priced one (£20, rather than £75 from the bridal store!!), but it's a polyester material.

My question is if polyester is ok, or if I should be looking for something else - I don't want to be too hot and sweaty on the day and I know polyester can sometimes be like this. To be honest I have no idea what other petticoats are made of so this could be the norm...?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Laura

I thought I should add...this is my dress: Ronald Joyce Dulce, and I've put a pic of what an ebay seller has suggested I purchase (for £20)

It looks great regarding the shape and polyester/lycra mix is the norm I think, I have however, purchased two from Ebay and one was bad quality and the other had a 19" waist when it arrived!?

Buy it cheap, buy it twice sprang to mind. I'm paying the £65 now for the Jupon I need.

    Thanks for the reply!

I think the buy cheap, buy twice is my biggest concern - just suprised at how expensive the Jupon ones are! Hmm, decision time! Smiley smile
