Photo Booth

Soon to be Mrs Fox, 7 February, 2012 at 13:58 Posted on Planning 0 19

Hello everyone

We would love a photo booth at our wedding and the costs are quite high so we were looking at making our own. Has anyone made one? How easy was it/ How much did it cost?

Or if you know anyone who has one for sale.

Thanks

Kelly

We are making our own, will cost roughly £60 buying some 8x6 mdf board and cutting out the frame shapes 3 of them, some wood to keep it standing (sorry cant for the life of me think of the real name but thick dowling/posts type stuff) getting frames from a charity shop and wallpapering over, we have a shop near us that sells props quite cheap like masquerade masks, moustaches and big glasses and i have a feather boa in my daughters dressing up kit, on youtube you will find a video of how to make one, it doesnt seem too hard and my H2B is not at all very good with DIY but says it should be easy enough x

We want one too and yes find them quite expensive. Who will be taking the pictures and with what camera etc or are you just going to leave a digital camera out? Am liking your idea very much!

    Thanks

It's 8ftx6ft and has been carefully made so you can't see any of the joins. It's big enough to fit atleast 6 people behind it.

We just had an empty frame and a box of dress up stuff... with a blackboard speech bubble.

The photographer took the first few shots of me and Mr C and the guests took the rest themselves.

Worked a treat and cost next to nothing!!
