Photo charm

germaki, 29 January, 2013 at 18:49 Posted on Planning 0 13

Does anyone know where I can buy a photo charm? I've seen one on eBay but it seems almost plastic looking and I'd prefer a vintage/antique silver type one.

Thanks

Have you thought about using a locket?

I didn't even realise photo charms existed! I have a locket from my bf, he got it from a more traditional local jewellers, it's yellow and white gold Smiley smile

Ooh didn't think if a locket, but because it will have a picture of my Dad I wanted it to visible and not closed away.

It can be visible, just leave it open. That's what my bride did with her Grandparents

I think you can get open photo lockets as well, essentially it's a bigger charm. If you have a charm that I guess goes on a bracelet, I just imagine it to be really small! Do you have a flash of it?

    Hi There,

I bought a beautiful locket charm recently from Thomas Sabo for my friend. She was very close to her cousin who died and her absence was really felt in the run up to my friends wedding. They had a few different locket charms and I also bought a fine silver Thomas Sabo bracelet to put it on. My friend wrapped it round the stem of her bouquet so she could keep it close.

Have a look at them - I spent months searching for the right one and was really pleased with what they had available.

    Hope you get sorted.

    Helen xx

With the ones from Etsy, how does it work with the shipping and tax? Years ago I ordered something from the US and months later got stung with a customs bill Smiley sad
