biggles_girl, 28 February, 2016 at 20:42 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hi all, we get married in july and arent having a photographer as we simply cant afford it. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a photo sharing sight that our guests could upload their photos to for us?

Hi, welcome to Hitched! I think a popular site/app (and also free, yay!) is WedPics. Also, depending on how savvy people are with social media, you could have guests hashtag photos when they post so long as you don't mind them being in the public domain.

As EPC has said I'd use Wedpics - it's a great app and easy to use. We have had a sign made with our username on it to display at the wedding. xx

    Hello,

I'm now familiar with wedpics, but can recommend Flickr. Their free accounts come with 1TB of space which would allow your guests to upload their pictures at full resolution.

You could create an account with a special password just for your guests to use - it also has an app!

Alternatively ask your guests to email you the pictures or use Dropbox and you can add them to an album e.g. on Flickr. That's what I did.

If you have one drive (free with a hotmail / outlook acocunt etc) you can get everyone to upload to there and share the link with everyone. Thats what I did when I was an unwilling unwitting photographer for a wedding and then people can view / save / download as they want.

We used WedPics, and it was brilliant. It is accessible via an app and via the website, allowing uploads from a variety of mediums. Once everyone had uploaded their pictures, we did a download of everything, got prints of each photo and wrote them all to a disc. We ordered little business cards from Vistaprint asking people to share their pictures and giving our wedding ID, and we put one in each wine glass at the reception.
