Photobooth

FutureSamW, 3 February, 2015 at 15:04 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hi I was just wondering if there was anyone who has done a diy photobooth?

we really wanted go do Polaroids then get guest to stick in a book & write messages

but it just seems unpractical with each film only taking 10 pictures so a lot of changing.

Then at a wedding fair we met one that was only £295 so thought it wasn't too bad but

on emailing him today he saying it is more.

Just wondered how much people have paid for photobooths?

TIA

sam

We have paid £499 but that does include guestbook with extra prints for guests, props, 4 hours of pics and attendants

It seems expensive but its something that we wont have to worry about on the day

    xx

Don't do polaroids! My friend spent about £200 on them for her daughters wedding and the photos were terrible. She already owned the camera so it was only film she had to pay for. I think most people forgot to use the flash (thinking it was automatic)

You should be able to get a decent photobooth from £300. Ask your wedding photographer too.

You could still do a DIY one. I've bought all the props and some selfie sticks, and then we're using the WedPics app and getting everyone to upload all the pictures to there. That way everyone has access to all the pictures.

We have one for our wedding its 4 hours, 2 set of prints and guestbook with an attendant for 495, the companies local even though they go around the country.

They are really good as they have been at two of my friend’s wedding, as we are not having any entertainment between breakfast and evening we thought this would keep everyone at bay.

Thanks everyone seems his quote is about average then!

Auntiejo that's good point about not having to worry about it & if we done it ourself I would!

Yes gone off the idea of Polaroids! But would have looked pretty! Smiley smile
