Photographer booked :D

swcbride, 26 May, 2012 at 11:02 Posted on Planning 0 7

Just a little-big YAY from me because I'm happy we've now booked a photographer after a 5 month search Smiley laugh Paying more than we originally wanted but we are happy with our choice. AND even happier that now I can move onto other things - was getting slightly fed up. Hope nothing else takes this long to sort out...

Hi date twin. Good news getting your tog booked. Our tog was one of the first things we got sorted. It was easy for us. My youngest sister was runner-up in "the face of 2009" competion and Lee was one of the judges. Following the comp sis has done quite a bit of modelling for him. Hes a fab fashion photographer but we have seen his wedding portfolio ? He's chuffed we asked him to do our wedding. Whats even better he doing it for MATES RATES. Wouldn't know where to start if we didn't know him tho. As you say another thing ticked off the list.?

My planning is going really well. Church, reception, tog, cars all booked and deposits paid. Bought THE DRESS (got it stored at my grandma's house out of sight of OH) and have all 5 of my BM's dresses. Save the dates sent out and I'm at the moment looking for my table decorations, have a good idea of what I want. Our reception is at the National Glass Centre close to the seaside so thinking of glass fish bowls with sand, shells or floating candles.

Really pleased with everything so far. Hope your plans are going well too?

Oh wow, you are so far ahead of the game than I am! That sounds amazing - you could properly go all nautical! Shells, sand, some starfish about maybe. You could even do shells as favours - when I was in school and a lot more creative than I am now, I got shells for my friends as presents and wrote a personalised message on the inside of each of them. Wow, you can do so much with that theme Smiley laugh

We just have venue, photographer and save the dates sorted. Next in my mind are things like the dress and flowers!
