Photographer rec's Cheshire/Staffordshire area?

Hi Gem,

We are having our photographs done by a guy called Andrew Davies and he also did my sisters wedding last year and did a great job. He does one package including album at £1200 but he also offers a disc only option and i think that was about £450 depending on how long you wanted him there - he is really fair and doesnt seem to only be in it to make money! I dont have a number for him but if you google his name it will come up

He is based somewhere in Cheshire i think but will travel.

Hi Gemmaw.......just spotted that you mentioned getting copyright to the images. Just to clarify this, it is unlikely that many photographers will give this(there are a few) although many will give you printing rights from the disk supplied.......which is seperate thing from copyright. If you do want copyright to the images, you will find your choice of phtographer quite limiting.

If you are getting a disk, do ask the photographer what file sizes you will be getting. We have had accounts on here of the files being too small for any print larger than a 6x4.

ps...its also worth saying the date of the wedding....

We are getting married at caverswall as well!! With a church service at st peter's first. Not found anyone else getting married there as its such a new venue. When are you getting married there? We are July 4th 2009

I'm so excited cos it's such a gorgeous venue, just want the time to fly now.

We have gone with david moore who is one of the preferred suppliers, but he is on the pricey side. Lindsay might have some suggestions for other photographers though -might be worth asking?

As well as wedding photographers (we may be able to help we are pretty close)

We are webdesigners who offer hosting for businesses (unlimited everything @ £100 pa). This is a popular package with photographers, many of whom host many 1000's of images with us
