Photographer tips? Tog in Stratford?

Ask to see several whole weddings, make sure they have contingency plans for if they get ill, image loss etc. etc. ask if they have back up equipment. Make sure you love the style first and foremost, price is secondary to making sure you get the photos you want and you'll have those photos for the rest of your life! Good luck with the hunt!

Most photographers these days are happy to travel, so don't necessarily let location be a deciding factor ?

Do you follow any wedding blogs? Many of them showcase work like the photo you linked to- whimsical wonderland weddings perhaps? You might find your dream photographer on one of those if you find a style you love.

As Marianne said, do always see a full gallery too (a few) as it really can be all the difference between thinking someone is amazing and realising that they aren't what you were looking for.

Hiya, yes love that site, also rock'n'roll bride. Anything like that would suit us as we're having an outdoor tipi wedding and a handfasting ceremony! A photographer that is used to 'unusual' would be ideal x

I think every photographer in the world would say they are used to unusual ? Good luck finding one you like and just make sure you have a good look through there galleries.

Where are you getting married?? I'm getting married in Stratford Upon Avon and have booked a photographer called Faye Ford, she's based just outside of Birmingham! I would Google photographers in Warwickshire and West Midlands and then arrange to meet up with the ones you like the look of and ask prices before!!

It's nice that someone else had heard of it Peter ?. It's a lovely place and I agree on the restaurants. Shame one of the best ones keeps getting flooded!!

Have you ever stayed at the Evesham Hotel or visited it??? The manager is eccentric to say the least although the times I have stayed there have been fantastic. They claim to have the largest range of wine and spirits compared to any other hotel anywhere in the world......
