How far out are you looking to? ive not shot there but could become familiar with the place through well timed meetings.

I have a couple booked for manchester and chester area for next year so would gladly add shrewsbury to the list.

I am out of your area, although would suggest that it is worth saying what you expect for the budget that you have. £800 may well get you a disk coverage, although not an album. Being more specific may get you more vendors.....

I agree with Peter, there are a good number of photographers who will give you great wedding coverage for £800, particularly if you don't include a photo album in the cost.

This is a standard set by the professional trade body, whereby they have assessed work to be to a professional standard and the photographer has submitted images via a mentoring scheme to attain that standard. In the current economic climate, I believe that this a serious consideration when choosing your photographer as there is no longer a barrier to entry to market yourself as a photographer and obtain the equipment required to undertake the role.
