So, yesterday afternoon I went to collect my dress. I'd had some worries as I'd not been able to find a pic of the tea-length version online and- when I did- it wasn't too....flattering...and the sample dress I tried on when I bought it was 4 sizes too small (!) but the minute she unzipped the dress bag, my fears were gone! I'd forgotten how purdy it is...hur hur hur.
Pranced around the shop for a bit- it's so light and foofy, it's like wearing a cloud! DEFINITELY made the right choice. So relieved! ?
So, here's a couple of pics. One shows the shape better and one shows the detail (but makes me look a bit squat). The shoes aren't mine, they are the shop 'loaners'- haven't got mine yet- but they will be bright buttercup yellow, like the flowers, but still peep-toe like in the pic. It needs to be taken in a few inches around the waist (testament to the weight I've lost) and they need to put in the 'tit-shelf' to give the boys a helping hand- they're a bit saggy here...but YAY!
Got my first appointment with the seamstress on the 19th July. Excuse the face blurring, but wanted to spare you the sight of me with no make-up.
I will also prob delete the pics soon (just to be on the safe side) so if they've vanished....sorry!
