If your Brother is like my other half then they are very hard to buy for. I once gave mine a personilized gift box for his birthday... he loved it as he could eat the contents.

Engraved champagne glasses?

We only really got vouchers for our engagement as we didn't ask for anything so couldn't really say what was our best but that would have been something we would have liked to receive.

We just had an engagement party and received lots of lovely gifts - much more than we expected from anyone. I would say whatever you give - give a bunch of flowers as well, as they really give a sense of celebration. We received some lovely bunches of flowers which have really brightened up our home. And it is something you wouldn't normally buy for yourself

When we got engaged we still hadn't moved into our flat so we got loads of homey type presents - towels, kitchen stuff etc which wasn't unbelievably exciting but has all come in very useful! We got some lovely champagne flutes but we've probably used them once and that's it.

It's a bit of a tricky one really as if it's your brother I guess you'd want to have a bit of a personal touch - perhaps a nice personalised engagement photo frame with a pic of them both inside or something?
