So I have gone from being a excited bee to a very busy bee indeed. This is a list of everything we've sorted already or in process of sorting at the mo, but i'm worried there will be something i've completely forgotten about?? if you spot anythign please let me know!

I ordered them from vistaprint this morn with express 2 day delivery. To be fair they are mainly just for information purposes to guests only, we have already text, facebooked, called, or emailed everyone and explained the situation so we already know mostly who can make the new date or not. how romantic eh, facebook and texts invites! hey ho

    Thanks,

I already had the bridesmaid and flowergirl dresses for the original date, we were very lucky that the photographer we booked originally could make the new date, else that would have been a nightmare, I already knew which dress I wanted just had to ring 100's (literally) of shops that stocked the designer until I found one in the right size that was willing to sell their sample dress - that was stressful, but sorted now. I called the shop I had put down a deposit with for the original date (i had put down a deposit but not order yet as was trying to lose weight first, not time now!) and explained the situation and asked if, given the circumstances, they would refund the deposit, they said no! So I asked if I could use that money against accessories -NO! Can't believe they could be so heartless, it's not as if I changed my mind about the dress, my MIL2B is dying!!

I am a little worried that the budget has gone out the window a bit, just a case of getting things done and not much time to shop around for good deals. Hopefully will be ok.

Still have that horrid feeling that i'll realise there's something i have forgotten on the morning of the wedding and it will be too late!

That's truly shocking about the dress shop. If you'd paid a deposit, but the dress hadn't actually been ordered, she's made £??? out of someone's tragic circumstances. Perhaps I've got it all wrong about deposits, but I thought it was to secure a product/service be it a dress or a date in a tog's diary; your's hadn't been ordered so she's made a profit out of you. This can't be right, surely? How can people live with themselves.

I know you've got a lot on your plate right now and probably just want to forget all about your horrid experience, but if you didn't feel up to it could a close friend or another member of the family phone the CAB or know of anyone else who could advise?

ps: Do you need a table plan?

Yeah initially I was quite cross but thought I shouldn't waste my energy on it. Maybe I 'll try calling again, the shop owner didn't even have the decency to speak to me herself but kept relaying message through the shop girl on the phone!! Grr!!

Yes table plan - thank you!

And table names/place cards - but maybe the venue are providing those?

I really hope the shop does the decent thing and repays you. I'm disgusted by them.
