My platinum engagement ring is from samarajames. They are online and cheaper than any jewelers we have found. i would have a look on their website.

I chose my platinum wedding ring today from Birmingham jewlery quarters . If you go I'd definitely recommend diamond heaven.

Thanks for all the suggestions we went to a couple of local shops, one had an offer on of no vat in wedding rings, so a shaped 2.5mm one in platinum with diamonds halfway around it to match my engagement ring came in at 820. It's a little like the one below, but with more diamonds. So I'm wondering if anyone has bought one similar recently and how much they paid? Especially if it came from Brum. The problem is the no vat deal ends Tuesday and we won't have a chance to go to Brum until at least next weekend.

Have a look on this website , they have a shop at Birmingham jewlery quarters , very helpful, and if you go In store you can usually get a bit discount off too! On the website all rings you can choose what type of metal you want. I ordered mine yesterday and picking up in three weeks , but they can deliver too if easier.

On there website it also tells you how much you would pay on high street ! Big saving

Humm yeah it does look like a trip to Brum may be in order then! I'm thinking we would be able to get my ring for the same price as the offer locally if not cheaper, so shouldn't lose out if we miss the deadline for the local deal.
