Please can i put my shoes to the vote??!!!

AutumnRose, 3 January, 2010 at 17:40 Posted on Planning 0 27

I've had a nightmare finding shoes....i wanted mid height, not sling back or sandals, no ankle strap, not too bling and (as my dress was well over budget) not expensive!!!

Narrowed it down to 2 pairs and i can't choose. Need to order them as the shop has asked me to have the shoes i'm wearing for my made to measure fitting in a couple of weeks.

Pair 1 - plain and simple but i love the shape and i think they suit my dress (not that you'll see them much i guess!!!) they are £55.

http://www.rainbowclub.co.uk/collection.htm?brand=Else&productID=169&Accessories=

Pair 2 - Bit more interesting but dont know if they go as well with the dress. £40.50 in sale at the moment.

http://www.barratts.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product1_10055_-1_127458_10553

I think i'm wavering one way but i don't know!!! Help appreciated!!!

Im going to say the rainbow pair for the same reason FMC said, plus the design of the shoe matches the shirring on your dress....... the second pair look a bit too pointy and painful for a full days wear.

I think I prefer the first ones, Im not sure if the second pair have a bit much detail given the detail in your dress. It's a vote for the 1st ones for me!x

They are both lovely although i prefer the first ones for there simplicity and the fact that you can dye them after so they will be a good investment!!!

I say the first pair - there is lots of detail on your dress, so you probably want something very plain. plus you could dye them after if you wanted.

    Hi Autumnrose.

Im for the first pair too. If you plan to buy them online I saw that elegantsteps.co.uk has a 10% off promo code in Wedding Ideas magazine this month (code is JANSALE). They do Rainbow club. The code runs til Jan 31st.

    Sid xx

I think the first pair will definitely go better with the dress and are really lovely, so they get my vote as well.

My head says the first pair but my heart says the second.

(I will add that I am going for a pair of bright, crystal covered, attention grabbing skyscraper heels myself so I would say ignore my heart and go with the first ones!!!)

Would it not be possible to get both pairs to try on with the sample dress and send back the ones you reject?
