please help ebay beginner. Someone won but hasnt paid me

Sofas are a PITA to sell on ebay. We had exactly the same issue, except the guy claimed he was coming to get them and never turned up. We ended up dumping them.

I think you're supposed to give a week or so to allow them time, but given that you've stated it's urgent due to moving house, I'd relist and open a dispute in ebay, so you don't get charged any fees.

Did you mention that payment had to be made within a certain time frame? I've made the mistake of not doing so before and I couldn't relist for 30days or something like that due to needing to give the buyer time. It's so frustrating!

I'd email the buyer one last time with a timeframe as to when you want payment and collection. If you haven't heard back you might have to open a dispute before you can relist. I can't exactly remember the protocol. Ebay is such a PITA.

Thanks girls. why bother bidding if you dont want them? stupid cnut. i have just advertsised them somewhere else and will see what happens, i need to relist them tomorrow or its too late. can i just relist anyway?

crantock, im fine, havent been around much as i am too busy trying to sell sofas on ebay ? and buy a new one and lots of other furniture for a our new house. pregnancy is also shyte so i nap rather than hitch these days. how are you?
