Congrats and welcome to hitched!!! i started with no idea either but i concentrated on this i really liked such as colours and flowers and have gradually built up from there. is there anything in particular you really like that you can gain inspiration from?

    Hello!!!

Have you set a date?? I was in a bit of a whirl like you. I suggest venue first. Once you have that you know your date is secure adn can start thinking about colour schemes etc - most other stuff seems to come from that

    Enjoy the planning Smiley smile

Congrats to you! so when's the big day then? budget is always a good place to start and then start looking around at what you can get for your money dont be put off if things seem a little expensive especialy if you have a small budget, you can always haggle and strike deals with suppliers etc.

Good luck and the lovely ladies (and some guys) on here are brimming with lots of useful advice x

I'd agree with sazelbean - sort venue first. IMO until you've got your venue you can't decide colour scheme or even your dress (my initial thoughts were very geared towards a sort of venue I didn't end up having - had to start completely again lol).

    Hello and welcome!

Budget is the best place to start as it generally dictates everything unfortunately! ie which venue you can book, what time of year, what day, guests etc. It all generally falls into place though even though it seems daunting to start with!

A lot of good suggestions for you. I'd suggest looking for a venue and booking the registrar (or vicar) as we had to change our date as there weren't any venues we liked for the date that we'd chosen & we we booked 15 months in advance. We still didn't get the wedding time as the 1 we wanted but have settled on an earlier time rather than starting agin from scratch. Good luck with your search.
