I`m off to Windsor today to have an assessment by Etihad Airlines to be a Cadet Pilot, which would see them pay for all of my training, then get a job with them for 5 years, a complete package worth nearly a quarter of a million pounds. I am one of 2500 people at this stage for about 24 positions. So I`d like as many hitched vibes as possible!

Thanks everyone for you good wishes, I had about 300 questions to answer in total. The first paper was about General Knowledge split into 3 areas, Aviation, Physics and Geography. Then I had an English comprehension test, then I had 4 Awareness tests.. Spatial Awareness, Numerical Awareness, Language Awareness and an Abstract Awareness Tests. I feel I did ok and only failed to answer 3 of the questions as I just ran out of time. I should have a no or maybe next week. They are going to make a class out of those Successful between London and Frankfurt, hence I should have a better chance than I thought. But stage 2 of the process will be 5 days in Abu Dhabi, so hopefully I can get to that stage.
