I feel far more offended that every time i, or one of the other DTCers mentions the slightest thing about IVF then a banner advert pops up advising us to try norway or turkey and 'save money'

in fact i find this far more offensive than any swear word in the world

and i couldn't give a toss that the people who create these adverts may be offended in turn by me, i think the people who set these types of adverts up are twunts of the highest order

I absolutely agree. But now that 99% of that community has migrated to the other place, that's where I'll be going too. It's not so much about 'which' site but 'where' the people are. And that's over on SL.

I'll probably dip in and out over here, but it's like the old days over on the other place now and that's really appealing.

Hitched has not been as good for a looooooooooong time. I found since the change of format it's been far quieter (more like Confetti was) whereas 6 years ago when I joined I found it really hard to keep up with all of the posts. That sort of traffic was what I really enjoyed. But now......its like a morgue half the time.

I am not bothered by swearing but it would be useful to be told what is acceptable, I think that's only fair. But then again I am an infrequent poster these days as it's so dead does my opinion really matter <shrug>

Stormfairy the difference is that there isn't as much new blood coming onto the site via WP anymore. Therefore the rest of the forums are being strangled.
