Strictly speaking, our honeymoon is in Australia (Perth), but we'll still have a few days left in Bali after the wedding too.

(although I'm starting to doubt the wisdom of visiting anywhere within the 'ring of fire' at the moment!?)

We are going to Australia 5 months after the wedding AND my fiancee wants to go away somewhere immediately after the wedding, so if she gets her way we'll be having two. No idea yet about honeymoon #1, I think i'll watch this post for ideas.

As we have two year old boys, H2B was not happy about leaving them at home (he has never spent a night away from then in two years), whilst we jetted off for the one holiday we would have this year.

Soooo, my H2B uncle has kindly paid for the 4 of us to go to euro Disney for the week after the wedding, we will then have a long weekend minimoon on our own and leave the boys with my mum for a couple of days.

The minimoon will be somwhere in the uk, cornwall possiably.

OOoh, where are you staying in Singapore? Me & OH went in April last yr - we loved it. Would highly recommend the Night Safari - amazing! We did 3 nights.

(we got stuck there when the volcano erupted - 18 hours in Singapore airport, sleeping on th floor, wasn't a highlight!!! haha!) xxx

Mexico for 2 weeks, all inclusive @ a 5star resort, we know of other honeymooners who went there & loved it so thats why we booked it.

Minnie: We are staying in Seminyak. We originally picked a really isolated, clifftop retreat but realised that wasn't really us - we much prefer the "people-watching from a beach bar" atmosphere... Nusa Dua is pretty lively?

Garda: We are staying in the Traders, nothing five-star lux. I figure we won't be spending much time in our room with a city to explore. Thanks for the night safari tip, was considering it but you've now sold it for definite!

We're going to Malta, it's taken me ages to get this information from my OH and when he told me he mentioned that he'd booked a twin room! So I've since emailed the hotel to ask if we can have a double bedroom - no way we're not sharing a bed on our honeymoon lol

Ooh, make sure you go for dinner in Valetta at the marina. You can dress up posh, eat lovely food and watch yachts, and then wander up to the gorgeous casino for some cheeky gambling until the sun rises!

We're doing the 6 night northern cruise, then staying in the Snow Hotel for a night, then doing the 7 night southern Cruise, then going to Iceland for 4 nights staying in Reykjavic.

Perfect location! There's tons and tons of shopping centres there. We found a lovely centre that did gorgeous noodles that fed us both for £5!

You can't not enjoy the safari. I'd also advise to get off the cart when you can and walk the trail. When we went it was absolutely throwing it down but it added to the experience! It was like walking through Jurassic Park!! It was one of our highlights tbh! We also did the City Tour. You get visits to Chinatown, Little India, Botanical Garden and entry to the Orchard garden. You don't get long tho, but it was nice to see a snapshot of each place.

Our singapore trip was a stop over coming back from Aus, but when we were there, we didn't want to relax - wanted to see the sights! We walked by Raffles Hotel too - wow! ?

We're looking at going to Turkey 5 Star....not booked anything yet as we are going to wait till we saved a bit of cash up to pay in full instead of worrying about it later on...

We've been to Turkey twice already and we've loved it each time, obviously i think a 5 star will be an experiance on its own as we've always gone 2-3*

Tunisia hopefully - havent booked it yet - but will be as soon as I get paid! x

People seem surprised that we're having a fairly large wedding but a relatively small-scale honeymoon... but we're not paying for most of the wedding and can't afford weeks away somewhere tropical ?.

However, my grandparents live in Kuala Lumpur and cannot travel, so after we got engaged, we went to visit as H2B had never met them before and I didn't want to marry him without their blessing. They LOVED him, but I think that was the last time we can afford to go for a while now. We'll save up and I'm hoping to have a baby after we're married and take the baby to meet them ?

Thailand, 4 days in The Sheraton Grande in Bangkok, and then 7 days at Six Senses Spa on Koh Samui. Can't wait!

Oooh I like the idea of dressing up posh - not so bothered about casino.. OH has a habit of not stopping once he starts in these places lol

You willl ❤️ The Six Senses Hideaway! We had 6 nights there for our honeymoon (booked as a surprise by Mr GB). It's out of this world! Personal butler service is fab, you get used to it! Have you got one a pool villa?

FTLOMB - We also had 4 nights in Singapore on our honeymoon - take plenty of cash for Raffles, the slings aren't cheap! We spent £90 on 3 drinks each ? We also had dinner in Raffles - yum!

We've also been to Bali and KL. I loved KL - make sure you visit Jalan Alor!

He he. I went and only stuck 5 euros in a poker machine and about 15 euros in an automatic roulette machine, was too scared to actually play any tables! However, I won about 350 euros on the last play of my machine roulette...The atmosphere was lovely though, very glam.

We're going to have a week in the UK straight after the wedding - probably the Lakes then go back to Barbados for 2 weeks in December. We went there last year and love the place so can't wait to go again!
