Pocket invites

Sam12345, 15 February, 2013 at 17:57 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hi everyone

So I booked the week of work to decorate and its now Friday I have sorted the venue, booked the TOG, designed the save the dates, spent a fortune buying wedding stuff off eBAY and not decorated!

Anyway I know I have ages until the wedding but have been discussing invites with my OH and I want to make my own. We really love the style of pocket invites and have looked in Hobbycraft and what feels like every internet site I can think of to find card in this style. Does anyone know where I could buy blank pocket invites like this: (ideally in white but ivory would do). I keep finding ones that open from the top book like the book effect.

Thanks in advance! ?

    Hi

Try www.pocketfoldinvites.co.uk - debut pocketfolds, I use this type of pocketfold in my business and they sell to the public I believe.

I'm using cardsandpockets.com for mine but pocketfolds.co.uk were very helpful when I requested a sample, for me it came down to cost.

Thank everyone I have requested a sample from pocketfold but will look at the other site, if they are slightly cheaper - every saving helps!

I too am another that used PDA card & craft. They had the largest range of pocketfolds, paper, card type etc.

I was originally going to print at home, but after failing to match up the insert maps on both sides, I had PDA print them also. I put the pocketfold together, added ribbon, a velcro dot, crystal heart etc. Still worked out cheaper than having someone else make them & I got exactly what I wanted.

They have plain cards & also a textured type called broderie/tapestry which I used. Comes in ivory & an array of colours, but more interesting than just plain card. I dont have a pic but this shows the textured card:
