I think the 'immediately' bit is a tad unclear. They can see them without my checking, but I wouldnt be happy if they went on a public site etc on the same day as the wedding x

Sometimes when you go to any kind of event you can guarantee that by the time you get home everyone's already put the pics you didn't even know they had taken on facebook and tagged you in them, the good the bad and the ugly!

I'll be asking guests not to upload until after 9pm to give evening guests chance to see me in person before the photos go up. Lets be honest, its about my dress, my OH looks much the same in any suit, but lots of friends have never seen me in a posh frock.

I'm also looking forward to the day after facebook photo check, integral part of a night out with my friends!

This is exactly a question I have been asking people as I'm undecided, I wouldn't necessarily need to approve them but I'm not sure if I want them shared on social network sights straight away.

I'd hope that people would at least wait until the evening reception. Probably while they're waiting to be served at the bar before the first dance. Since I'm the one usually uploading stuff on facebook as it happens I probably don't need to worry, I'll be too busy!

I am going to ask people to try and at least wait until the next day so I know my evening guests won't seem them on FB before they get to see them in person. We have done a wedding website and are asking people to upload the pics to that so we can see them when we get back from honeymoon. Xx

I picked the last option - Always private!

I would like to see all photos taken on the day but I would hate it if they were shared on facebook. It would be mine and my husband's day and for us to pick the images we want others to see. Not down to guests to post them online. I don't want any old Tom, Dick or Harry having a nose at such a special day, especially as my wedding is going to be a small, intimate one!

None of those options really apply to us but we would prefer that people don't post photos to facebook on the day, mainly because we are marrying abroad and having a party for other friends and family when we get home and would like them to see us dressed up first hand, not just via facebook.

I would prefer it, OH probably wouldn't but, as my brother can't come, it would be a way for him to feel part of the day if he could see pictures as they happen.

For the formal photographs my grandfather is doing these. Come evening we are putting cards on the table with the website to upload photos to. Neither of us like formal photos very much so will be nice to see some 'natural' shots.

I have a friend who delights in taking terrible pics of me and then immediately posting them on facebook before I've had a chance to see them, so my vote would be that I would prefer to see them first !

I changed my FB so I had to "approve" tags before they appeared on my wall. that way, friends could put pictures on if they wanted, but they wouldn't show on my wall for everyone to see until I got back from HM

I am not on facebook and don't like the idea that my photos would be on there for people who I don't know to look at.

For example if my cousin put us on then all her friends could see- I have never met any of her friends and find the thought of them looking at me odd.

I would however put pictures on here- probably not permanently though- does this make me a hypocrite? Possibly! Although at leas they are relevant here.
