Poundland = my new best friend!

Arquard, 15 May, 2011 at 20:30 Posted on Planning 0 6

I popped in there today to look for some cheap colouring pencils and came away with some stonking bargains! I got 7 packs of 50 wax crayons plus 13 canvas 'fun' bags with different designs on all for £20! We're making up kids' activity sets tomorrow and this has saved us a fortune. We found a load of pictures online that we can print off for them to colour in - sh*tloads cheaper than buying colouring books - and with this latest bargain, we've spent less than half what I'd estimated we'd need for activity packs for small people.

WHOOP!! I do love a good bargain.

Nice one sammyjay. We got loads of cheep games for the kids table, like cards & dominos from the Works, were 2 for a pound. plus cheap colouring books & crayons.

Last time I was in poundland they had big wedding party popper cannons, for a pound of course, and place cards etc too. Already had bought mine online for much more! Smiley sad oh well

I've bought a couple of the "champagne bottle" party cannons. Would love to know if anyone's set one off yet - and how it went!?

My cousin lives in a place with no access to poundshops. When she comes to visit me we have been known to spend the day touring the various different ones in the city! ?

I love Poundland too. I love taking my daughter in and letting her choose what she wants, it never comes to more than £10 and I love seeing her face just picking loads of things up.

I got some wedding bargains too last week, 2 candle holders for £1. Came out with 15 boxes. Love it!
