PP ... So excited!

katieJ2b, 17 July, 2016 at 20:16 Posted on Planning 0 16

My veil arrived!! It's beautiful! ?

The fabulous Pink Margaret made it for me. Lots of girls have recommended her on here in the past, and when the one I fell in love with in the bridal shop was out of my budget I got in touch to see if she could copy it for me. She did a fab job, for a fraction of the price!!

Now I just need to stop myself from trying it on every other day!!

I've also spent this weekend covered in glue and glitter making my glittery champagne flutes for the morning of the wedding - they look fab! Will flash a pic when they are all dry Smiley smile

It's loooooong!! Cathedral length, two tiers with some crystals scattered. Felt ridiculous when I tried it on with my shorts and t shirt today for my mum! But I'm SO going to wear it to do my housework in after the wedding!! Smiley smile x

Sounds lovely! Can I ask how long it took to arrive? Was thinking about contacting her but I'm not sure I have time

It took 8 weeks to be made, and it arrived the day after it was posted. But then she did know that my wedding isn't until October. She's really quick on emails, drop her a note and see if she can squeeze you in!x

Sorry if these pictures come up massive!! These are my glasses, I need to another another layer of glitter and then seal them......

And these are the champagne corks that I've been glittering. I have a whole sack full of champagne corks (friends and family have been VERY busy this year!) I think I am going to get some vases or bowls to fill with corks, with a few glittery ones thrown in.

Having a slight champagne theme...all of the tables are going to be names after different brands of champagne ! Smiley smile xx

Sorry! The pictures are rubbish quality as well!

    Those glasses look amazing.

I'm so not very crafty, I tried to make a fondant icing rocket yesterday (yes on one of the hottest days of the year) and i just looked phalic.

would like to have the skill to do glasses like those.

You'll do better with flower paste Smiley smile You won't be able to eat it as it'll dry rock hard but it'll last forever (unless it breaks lol)

Thanks girls. The glasses are so easy! You should give them a go. I had the vinyl names printed by someone on facebook/etsy for £1 each, stuck them on a 50p glass from Asda and then pasted the bottom in glue and sprinkled loads of glitter on the top! So much fun to make as well, could sit all day making them Smiley smile I made some for my friends wedding on Friday..we just didn't add the names. Think we are going to add a little bow to them as well to finish them off Smiley smile
