Well one of my 3 bridesmaid's has just announced she is pregnant, which i am sooooo happy about. She is only a few weeks gone so will be around 4 months for my wedding on 7th September. But what do i do, this is her in her dress....

Do you think this style will fit a 4 month bump in?....

I wouldn't have thought a 4 month bump should be too big/noticeable anyway - I think it'll be fine Smiley smile xx

You might be able to alter it to empire waist if it really comes to it.

I don't know how big a bump is at 4 months but I don't think it's particularly big. You can always see nearer the time if it needs to be altered.

That's a gorgeous dress by the way. where did you get it from if you don't mind me asking?

It will depend how she carries the baby, I wouldn't panic one of my BM's will be 8 months on our day and the shop are planning on doing something to it (my fingers are very crossed).

The design should be fine see how it goes, if you have the dress at home then find a good local seamstress they can do wonders! good luck. x

If this is her first pregnancy she probably wont have much of a bump if any, so i think dress will be fine. if anythink needs altering it will probably be the bust!!!!!!

If say it depends if it's her first baby or not. With my first I started showing about 16 weeks but with no. 2 I struggled to keep it a secret until 12 weeks - my colleagues had already guessed! You really won't know until nearer the time so it's probably worth *thinking* about a back up plan.

My work colleague is 6 months pregnant and she isnt showing at all in my opinion, you can barely tell so you may be ok. She is a size 8 I woould say though, so naturally quite small.

An empire line dress will have the 'waist' just under the bust like this:
