Present for OH

shani14, 9 February, 2011 at 23:26 Posted on Planning 0 20

What are you all buying for OH to open on wedding day?

I looked at funky frames with a heart map inside, They looked cool.

Anymore ideas?

xx

No - i'm stuck on that one! my arguement is that i am his wedding present - ha ha!!

he wants an omega watch but i don't have a spare £2,000 so he's definitely not getting one of those (he was joking - i think!)

that is at the top of my to do list!

i wanted to get a little thoughtful something for my step-kids-to-be - but also struggling on that one too!!!!

I am making the heart maps, have got them on a special introductory offer for feb. I also make others too with bride & groom figures in that can be made to match all your wedding colours, right down to the hair colour.

I need about 4 weeks to make them though as I am absolutely snowed under with orders for them since I posted a few pics last week.

Am i tight? Not buying him anything... We've spent enough on the wedding already! He has watch, cufflinks etc. I really wanted to do him a pin up calendar with pics of me all dolled up but those photo shoots are waaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive!

I'm doing him a box full of little bits. So far I've got him personalised socks with our wedding date on, a 'how to be a good husband' book (only a tiny one just for a bit of fun), getting him some 'groom' boxer shorts, getting him some of those map cufflinks...not sure what else! Maybe some aftershave?

I did see on ohsocherished a book with newspaper clippings of his football team (QPR) from it being founded through to present day. I was very tempted but as I got him a PS3 for xmas as a joint wedding/xmas present I only want to get him little bits.

I am getting OH a box of goodies labelled with Drink Me, Wear Me, Read Me, Watch Me...

Drink Me is a bottle of Taittinger Champagne (currently only £25 in Sainsburys)

Wear Me is a TW Steel watch (he wanted a U-Boat one but at 10x the cost... no!) although undecided between blue or orange!

Read Me will be a hand written love letter (You don't really get these anymore will all the technological whatdyamacallits)

Watch Me is a DVD of photos set to music that I have made for him to watch on our 5 year anniversary the night before the wedding!

Mrs C your presents are lovely!

I have lots of Hand written letters from H2b as he travels to places where there is sometimes or phones or internet and so he has some from me too - but going to send another one for luck via our photographer for when H2b is waiting for me in church and getting nervous.

Right you've inspired me to pull my finger out and actually get cracking on this! I was thinking about underpants and socks etc but to be honest we're really having to save very hard for the wedding (2nd July, can't figure out tickers ha) that we haven't got much money to buy each other gifts!

Love the idea of a love letter so I'll definitely do that for the morning of, I'm definitely going to pass on a note to the photographer to give him. Hmmm I'm really lost about what else! I'll get him aftershave...urgh I'm hopeless buying gifts for him he's got everything he needs and wants nothing else!! Ok...google time ha.

    Hi LizzyB,

If you want to take a look at my website, there are a few more designs on there.

I am doing an introductory offer for February on them all.

If there is something in particular that you want incorporating into a design, I could probably do that for you too. I have just had a bride order a picture & she wants a little cat putting in with the bride & groom

If you are anything like me & pack everything but the kitchen sink, maybe there will not be enough room in your case. I suppose it dependsonthe size/weight of the gift.
