Present for reader?

Ooo, good question, we have a friend doing a reading and I hadn't even thought about this! Although, now you mention it, I think I will get her something, she has been a massive help already and is the first person I turn to for help with the wedding (other than hitched!!), BM's and CBM's are not interested in the slightest, and she is coming to the florist and stuff with me so I think she deserves something. Not sure what though..

I'm getting our readers a little somthing to say thank you. Probably just a bottle of wine for my auntie and maybe a nice necklace for OH's neice. It's only really a little token gesture from us.

No not getting readers anything. I have been a reader at a number of weddings and have not expected to get a present......I didn't actually get one either!!!!!!.....not from any of them.........i'm not bitter..........(off to suck lemons....,) ?

I am but as the readers are my best friends and are also doubling up as girl ushers I wanted to give them something. I've been a reader loads of times before and have only received one bouquet of flowers, I really don't think it's expected and your OH thanking them in his speech should be plenty.
