Present for the B2B

akwoody2, 9 February, 2013 at 11:23 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hello,

As the groom to be iv been thinking about lovely gifts for the Bride to be to open on the morning, iv thought about making a CD with some special songs and a letter to go with it.

I was hoping for some ideas and views from other B2B.

Any help?

Thanks

Hi! So nice to have a g2b posting a question like this.... Shows you're really thoughtful, so with that in mind I think you've already hit the nail on the head. A gift doesn't have to be expensive or flashy. But it SHOULD be from the heart, so I think your idea of CD and letter is absolutely perfect!!! You really can't get a more personal gift than that so she will be thrilled.... I know I would!!! Handy hint tho..... Make sure she received it either the night before or early on in the morning.... Defo before makeup being applied- she may love the gift but won't appreciate walking down the aisle with puffy post tears eyes lol!!! Xxx

A letter/card is a lovely idea, as is the homemade cd. Other ideas could be flowers, chocolates (you can get personalised ones), any jewellery, perfume, pamper kit (her fave or any luxury bubble bath, face mask etc!).

My H2B knows I have him a pressie so asked what type of thing he could get me. I said I would love a card with something personal written inside by him; it doesn't have to be a professional poem or anything! Just something that will make me feel happy, special and ready for the day ahead

Thats a really lovely idea, i know my OH wouldn't do something like this. But he is very good at picking up hints and has often brought me things as presents I've made passing comments on in shops.

I would really love a watch as a wedding present, I dont have a really nice watch and nor does OH its what I plan to get him as he does like to wear one. Just hope H2B picked up my Marc Jacob Rose gold watch hints hehe!

To be honest though, i would be happy with anything. I have brought OH a to my gorgeous groom leather journal that i will fill out before the wedding to go with his other present. He loves all that mushy stuff x

I think that is so sweet.

Something that has had time and effort put in to it is always a winner in my opinion.

You could get her a bride journal from oh so cherished? It has spaces for memories, photos, and nice sentiments etc.

You sound very thoughtful- I can't imagine my OH signing up to Hitched in a bid to find the perfect gift for me!

My OH wrote me a 7 page letter, saying it was because he'd never written me a love letter. I also got a Welsh lovespoon and a set of pearl jewellery which I then wore on the day.

I got Jo malone perfume and body lotion that had been chosen just for the wedding day, so that that smell would always remind us of the day.It really does too. He also left a bottle of champagne, a very soppy "for my wife on our wedding day" card and some beautiful flowers flowers were delivered that morning.
