Ah, that's made me giggle - great pictures, and they're certainly colourful! I hope you don't mind but I had a look at some of your photographs and they are stunning...do you have a very high-tech camera, or (unlike me) are you just blessed with the good photography gene? ?

I thought I would tell you what my boss gave me for christmas. Bearing in mind he is very wealthy, he gave me a tin of Celebrations given to us by a customer, so it actualy cost him nothing. I am diabetic and cannot really eat them! lol. It's the thought that counts. I bought him a litre bottle of his favourite drink. It is also a bit of a standing joke at work, what he buys us at christmas. My daughter used to work for his friend [same line of business] and he bought her a new mobile phone and his current staff get ipods and digital cameras or £150 cheques. My boss tells him to tell his staff not to tell us what he buys them, but they always do, lol.

My Husband bought me some perfume I really like and he is taking me to London next week for a day out. My daughter bought me a lovely big scarf that I admired and some heat pads from Body Shop. My Grandson bought me some perfume and toiletries. My Eldest son bought me a book by my favourite author and some make up. My youngest bought me some pampering toiletries. My ex-SIL bought me a lovely set of liquid soap and hand cream for my bathroom. My step children bought me toiletries, soft toys, sweets and biscuits. Another work colleague bought me a bottle of Moet and Chandon which was also a thank you present for getting rid of one of his patients, who was a trouble maker and a very nasty piece of work.

From Mr G and the children, I got a food processor (it's what I asked for!) as Mr G broke my old one, the LOTR trilogy on DVD (Daniel has ruined all my LOTR DVDs) and also Tinselworm (Bill Bailey) on DVD. The children and I gave Mr G the QI quotes book, PJs, a very huggable dressing gown and a polishing cloth for his saxophone. All boring presents, but we both got what we asked for. I also got a £20 WHSmith voucher from mum and s'dad. I'm anticipating book tokens from Mr G's family as I have loads of expensive books to buy for Uni.

Mr G and I also got a record haul of biscuits - 6 boxes and counting!

Ah, thank you Ruby Blue, that's so kind! I don't have a fancy camera really and Ijust snap what I fancy!

They are great KJX, aren't they? I heart them lots.

Special Kat, they were just a three month thing and then were all auctioned off. Some are on their way back though as they have been donated to various places by the buyers to be enjoyed by the public. They are fab, I've never seen so many people have an interest in art! I'm from Edinburgh and IMO, they knocked the socks of the cows. ?

No OH for me this year so no 'big' presents but still had a good haul:

Dressing gown with penguins on, posh wine glass, butterfly bangle, turquoise necklace, amethyst and silver earrings, couple of good books, Tai Chi book and DVD, bottle of wine, and a 'Lern Yerself Scouse' book (as a joke from a Scouse work colleague). And all from one friend (spot the theme): Japanese cookbook, Japanese Pocky (chocolate coated pretzel sticks), sake and Japanese plum liquer, and noodles. My parents gave me money with which I bought myself a gorgeous red leather handbag.

From my husband & son : earrings, REN products, voucher for a set of 6 facials, Stella Mcartney Perfume.

FRom mum amd dad: Box of L'Occittaine products, bag,

Brother and SIL Membership to the National Trust.

My younger brother went a little mad- we all received X Boxes 360, with a serious amount of games, various DVD boxsets. Apparently he works on a Microsoft account so these were all feebies he passed on to us. He gave us blu ray disc player too.

From friends, colleague and my boss: perfume, Zubrowka vodka, smellies, tweezerman tweezers, chocolate and lots of small gifts for my 1 year old.

I feel a little embarrased, esp by my younger brother but he insisted. My older brother and I are going to pay for a couple of nights in a really good hotel in Bangkok for him, since he always stays in hovels when he's there.

What lovely things everyone got! The Beast, have you got a pic of your diamante skull & crossbones necklace? It sounds ace!

MarineGirl, is your MIL one of those people that thinks you don't spoil yourself enough or something? Or maybe she thinks you smell ? (just joking of course!). Why don't you put the soap in the loo, maybe that would give her the message! The soap may have come free with the perfume though, I wouldn't worry about the cost TBH. If I were you I'd flog it on the Bay of E and buy myself something I do like, thus avoiding confrontation and the possibility of making both of you feel bad...

I got a Canon 50mm lens for my new DSLR, yay! A coat I'd been lusting after from Karen Millen, Agent Provocateur Maitresse perfume gift set, Dower & Hall bracelet (silver and amethyst), Pride & Prejudice soundtrack, Girls Aloud live DVD, Girls Aloud CD, Benefit concealer, fab 'Cherry Cake & Ginger Beer' cookbook with recipes to make things like characters from the Famous Five or Swallows & Amazons would have had!, Hugh Hefner biog ?, Emma Bridgewater 'Tea Coffee and Hot Chocolate' mug, MAC lipstick and gloss gift set, a gorgeous photo of my niece (taken by me?) and a Benefit makeup bag ?

PS Julescatgirl - I didn't know you were pregnant again, congrats!
