I've been very lucky this year, H has spoiled me thoroughly with being away for the 7 weeks before christmas. So he got me:

New engagement ring (my old one was yellow gold and I was sick of getting it recoated!)

    DS lite and games

    iPod connector for my car

I also got a vanity case, denby china and a big snuggly blanket from my parents and money off the PIL.

My nephew got me a gorgeous photo of himself ❤️

We had a credit crunch Christmas here, and so I gave, and received, far less than usual. It was nice actually, much less work, and much less stress.

However I seem to have a complete box set of Peep Show DVDs and <bows, for we are not worthy> Ben Goldacre's Bad Science book, an Avoca handwoven mohair throw, booze and some tiny chinese rice dishes from the GTC. Which is rather nice.

I shall go to JL tomorrow and buy myself some nice kitchen things with the money I saved ?

Hugo Boss scarf from mum and dad plus my favourite manly scent.

Assorted scotch, chocolate and blu-rays from the rest of the family.

We had a credit crunch Christmas here too, which was the sensible thing to do, but it's been a bit miserable reading about everyone else's haul and I'm sat here feeling a bit sorry for myself. ? We agreed we'd spend the money on new curtains for the front room; the current ones were only ever a 'temporary measure' about two years ago!

Despite the credit crunch, both kids seem to have acquired a toy shop EACh. The place is littered with toys, massive things that are a nightmare to store/tidy away.

I did get a gorgeous dress and fabulous MAC make up from my mum.

Lovely Philosophy products from the kids.

A grim itchy jumper from Tesco from my in laws (which I exchanged for baby milk two days ago!)

A canvas picture of my two boys from my SIL and her husband, along with a book about dreams (bizarre).

Gorgeous framed photos of my niece and nephews.

Flump, I am so jealous of your Karen Millen coat. It's fabulous.

Am very happy with my Christmas presents

From H I got Mamma Mia, the new Kelley Armstrong book, a box set of a vampire tv series (can't remember which one), a sun jar and My Sims Kingdom. I also got a selection box from Santa and some Lindor.

From the in laws I got Endless Ocean (wii game), a jewellery making kit and book, Lush stuff and sweeties.

From my mum I got the V box set.

My brother bought me a book on changing my life with colour - pretty much a book about fashion and colour, which is pretty good from my brother.

From friends I had some books, a hot chocolate making machine and some thermal mugs, vouchers and the entire series of Father Ted on DVD.

I was given(and gave) an insane amount of presents due to spending Christmas with H's side of the family and friends(more than 20 of them) this year.

    My fave presents were:

Entire set of Kathy Reichs novels

Jo Malone starter set of 9 mini bottles of perfume

    More perfume (Calvin Cline)

Two pairs of lovely ear rings and a necklace

Lots of Make Up and a new beauty box to keep it in

    Book vouchers

My so called life DVD box set

    Family guy DVD box set

    PJ's and fluffy socks

A voucher for a full body Swedish massage

There were so much more..lots of chocolates and sweets, more books, booze, kitten calendar, how smart is your cat game/test, desk hoover, lots of funny small things, candles, room fragrance, bath goodies...Im sure there were more..it looks almost obscene written down!
