Presents for the Mothers?

Hi Everyone,

My MIL will be flying over from Ireland for my wedding so I can't really give her a bunch of flowers to say thanks (thanks for what, I don't know!!!). She wouldn't be able to take them on the plane so she'd end up giving them right back to me.

Any ideas on what I should get instead? I want to give my own Mum flowers but giving one and not the other would be odd. Maybe I should get them both the same present?

What's the protocol?

If you want to give your mum flowers could you not give her some the day before in private?

On the day then maybe give them both something the same like a nice photoframe with a note saying you'll fill it when you have your wedding photos back, or a small bottle of their favourite perfume, jewellry, soaps or anything along those lines that you think they'd both like.

We've bought both our mums a photo frame because they are both travelling so cant get them flowers but we might do is get a bunch delivered to them both on the monday to say thank you
