Primer recs, please

HeidiHole, 12 February, 2009 at 13:49 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 14

I don't normally bother with primer, the odd time I do it's the No.7 one. I have run out and wondered if there were any fab but bargainous primers I am missing out on.

I fankoo.

Oops, I opened this thread because I couldn't think why anyone would want a recommendation for a Latin primer (I was at school waaaaaay too long ago) ?

I'm currently loving 'That Gal' by benefit, it works well as a primer or on its own ?

    I use beauty flash balm.

Don 't get the Chanel; one - it's beyond shit although I sold mine on ebay for more than I bought it.

    Thanks, peeps.

Am looking more at the Bourjois/Maybelline end of the market though, cannot justify 20 jibs plus on a primer at the moment, we're doing up the house and trying to save <yaaaaaawn>.

I might have a flash balm travel size kicking about. I'll check - it lasts forever, so I won't need it any time soon. If I have it, it's yours. However, I'm not making any promises - I may have already given it to my ma.

Ooh, you little love, thank you!

I did buy flash balm once a long time ago, but I didn't really know what to do with it at the time so it sat on the bathroom shelf looking pretty until I had to throw it out ?

I swapped my flash balm for Barbara Daly's Face Lift from Tesco. It's about a fiver.

I am not sure how much any of them are but I love my MAC face primer. Much prefer it to the Clarins flash balm and I think it is cheaper too.

was it you that recommended it? Someone on here did. I bought that and the liquid foundation and i'm more than happy with them, esp. for the price.

I bought the GOSH one from Superdrug last year as I'd heard it was very good, but then barely used it as I don't really wear makeup. If anyone wants it as a RAHK, just shout and I'll dig it out of the bottom of my makeup bag.
