Couldn't agree more having drunk 2/3 of a bottle this evening!

I'm also partial to a good cava!

No no no no no to cava.

well, after the first few sips it's ok. As a rule I find it a bit 'burny'

I've been subjected to mrminis family today (inc mil) getting pissed has ben the only way around it. I had to do a mercy dash to one stop as I had run out of booze.

Ah me I'll drink anything if I'm subjected to OH's family!

But given today's last minute wedding shenanigans I'm currently enjoying a particularly good prosecco I was given on my hen do!

Like most wines there are some Proseccos that aren't good. But good Prosecco is wonderful. I love the Saino's Congeliano - consistently good.

No, I don't really like it either. I'm not much of a drinker, and when I do I like a whisky cocktail or a bourbon. It's hard to be a grown-up when you don't like wine.

Wine is purely for grown ups. Whiskey is for kids, obvs.

Yes, tis excellent. I prefer it to champagne in most circumstances.

Though I managed to get tipsy on one pint of "apple pie" cider last night so I probably shouldn't have too much!

Yes. Yes it is. It's my favourite of the sparkly sparklies.

I had some last night though and I am not loving how I feel at work this morning Smiley sad

I seem to remember that the London meet in November involved a fair amount of Prosecco... I blame Funky.

    J'adore.

We asked our wedding planner (who is quite possibly the most useless wedding planner of all time - long story) if we could have Prosecco instead of Champers for the toasts. She had never heard of it. She referred to it, in an email, as Persico.

I love it. I never really used to drink that much but since I've discovered prosecco (and a good bottle of pinot grigio) I love to have a glass on Fri and Saturday nights. We've made prosecco our toast drink too

Yeah, love the stuff too - can't get enough. Off all alcohol at the moment though but will be delving into a few glasses of it for our anniversary in a few weeks.

SillyWrong - that's hilarious - did you correct her?!
