Just thought I'd whack a post on here about the show last night if anyone's thinking of going!
Am currently sitting in my new T-shirt which says (in fabulous silver sparkle)..."Life's an adventure. Dress Accordingly" ?.
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert was fabulous, the costumes (as they should be), the set was really simple..but it had an amazing bus. The songs were really well chosen especially 'POP Music' ?.
The staging was brilliant, really clever and made you have to think ...'how'd they do that'
If you're thinking of going then do it, but don't buy cheap seats, the Palace theatre is rather tall and narrow so if you're at the top you can't always see what's going on high up on the stage and stage front. I'd definitely book dress circles or stalls (unless you can get front row balcony!), I'd go and see it again in a heartbeat ?
Plus...Jason Donovan was brilliant..and limp wristed as you like!
