I'm trying to convince H that we should be thinking about increasing our brood. Getting another puppy so Manson has a brother/ sister to grow up with. He isn't so convinced after Manson took to eating the house plant this weekend (Note to dog: You are not helping the situation!)

Just tell him Manson will stop eating the house plants once he has a friend to keep him company ?

OH has agreed we can have a puppy, it's just when that's the question. I wan't one NOW! *stamps feet* lol

I have but he isn't falling for this. The reality is that we would have 2 dogs eating the plants and leaving soil all over the livingroom.. ?

OH wants a lab or retriever, I prefer smaller breeds (I'd love a Westie) but I think I'd be happy with anything tbh so I expect he'll get his way!!
I've always had dogs when I was living at home, as did OH. I've got a cat atm (when I was renting it was the only pet I could have, andI really missed having a fuzzy in the house!) but it's not the same, I really miss having a dog around.

We have a cat too. He doesn't seem pleased to see us unless we have a tin of food in our hands or when we come home and he has been out in the rain. He is lovely but just more intelligent and has a lot more self importance! The dog on the other hand is a happy doofus 24/7. ?

Oh I love cocker spaniels! She's gorgeous! I think Penny would really suit her too, it's a name I secretly love and have got it on my fictional future children's name list (my H doesn't know though)

im not so keen on baby humans but I LOVE baby dogs! (And fully grown ones! -my Oscar is nearly 7 but still my baby!) I realise I sound like a crazy dog lady now lol xx

Aww Pantsy would love a pup, while he's still young himself! I think introducing a pup to an older dog they sometimes can't be bothered with it and it's puppy ways. Once you've got one, you may as well have two!!
