Im having 2 flowergirls (nearly 3yr old) n having their dresses made. they've just been mesured for wedding in 6 weeks. Obviously they won't grow as quick as your son but the dressmaker is taking into account any possible growth spurt.

    Hello,

I would say that may would be ok, i have 23 month old twins boys and a 3 year old boy but we are buying their outfits from next - with the amount they have all grown recently im leaving it as long as possible! Probably order all the clothing the middle of may so it gives me enough time to change if they grow again - with their shoes im going the week beginning of june.

Could you please hide your ticker from me ;o) that means i only have 108 days till we get married, nearly out of 3 figures aghh!

    xxx

My daughter's going to be 13 months (also 18th June whoo date twin) and I bought her dress last October. I got it in a 12-18 but she's wearing that already because she's really tall!

    I'm having the same problem!

My OH's daughter is our flower girl. she's 5 but she's very tall for her age and has very regular growth spurts.

The dress i want for her is from BHS and i don't want to risk them going out of stock or discontinued so do i order it now in a few sizes to big and hope it fits??

Children eh, why do they have to grow, lol!! ?

It depends on if you are hiring his suit.

When we got married we had a pageboy who was 5 and he was measured 2 months before the wedding.

When my mum got remarried she put my step dads 3 year old nephew in a suit and he was measured a month before.

Perhaps give the suit hire place a ring if you are hiring them and see what the recommend?

If you are buying then I would start looking around now at getting him 18 months - 2 years and if it is slightly too big get it taken up slightly.
