Questions to ask when viewing venues

Hiya!

My sister is going to view potential wedding venues this weekend.

When I was viewing venues I remember everyone on here helping me with questions to ask, so I am after the same again..

My venue does not allow outside catering at all, not even minatures as favours. they will not even leave us hire a chocolate fountain, we have to use theirs at £6 per head. so i think its a good idea to ask about that.

do they allow you to have your own entertainment, cant think of anything at the moment, not much help i know.

Would the venue be exclusive to your wedding or do they cater for more than one wedding most days? (very important question!)

How many of the evening guests do you have to cater for?

Is there a honeymoon suite as part of the package?

Is there ample parking for guests? Minimum numbers of day guests?

Is there somewhere nice for photo's if it rains?

Do they have noise restrctions preventing live bands?

How late does the bar stay open (very important, lol)
