Quick Poll - how many guests?

I am bored, so I thought I do a quick poll on how many day and Eve guests are you inviting to your weddings, for some reason this always intrigues me, one of my friends had 500 people to her wedding last summer!!!! We are inviting 80 to the Day and another 40 to the Eve. S x

    We've got 46 (inc two 3yr olds) for the day and about 130 for the night. i can't imagine having 500 people there, think i'd be inviting everyone i've ever known!

    Phew! I thought I was odd there. Everyone is having such big weddings! ?

    I didn't think ours was a small wedding but judging by everyone else's it is! ? Not that I mind really - I have everyone I want there. We both have small families - it's mostly friends!

    Like BaileyWailey & deborah I'm having 100 to the day & a further 100 to the evening, didn't realise that it was such a big wedding but I suppose it is in comparrison to others.

    We are having 40 to ceremony then another 60 or 70 to the evening, not a huge wedding. Cant bloody well afford to feed more than that!!! lol

    We're having 80 to the day and 120 to evening.

    But I know of someone who had 1800 and then they ran out of seats!

    I've got 68 in the day including kids, havent decided for the night yet - the venue will let us have 150 in the evening (already paid for) but we're going to aim for 120.

    Phew! Glad I got to this one too. We're having around 55 all in (depending on how many more rubbish people drop out).

    Interesting thread...

    we're having 80 to the ceremony, and then another 140 joining us for drinks and dinner/dance. so 220 people at dinner!! x

    yes!!! but we both have massive families, so... and managed to get a good deal with caterers because of the large number, but still!! x

    We are inviting 80 to the day and and a further 100 to the evening if they all accept the invitation 180 in total!!

    We have 75 people on the day list (but about 12 of these wont come) and about another 20 for the evening.

    74 day, 114 all together evening

    was supposed to be 60 day and 90 night!
