Just depends where you get measured! M & S (I used to work there years ago) do it different to places such as Contessa etc. I found the best way is to ask to try them on - that way you know for sure they fit comfy. I've only got little boobs but a broad back and when I ask for 38A in shops, they look at me like "yeah, in your dreams!" but I am!

I think it is an a cup...but im not 100% sure. you might be best to try some on in shops, or to look through some of your older ones that are a good fit and see of the writing is still visible. if you go into la senza or somewhere like that you can take a bundle in and try them all on!!

The last time I got measured up was at John Lewis. They were very good and the bra I bought on their advice fitted perfectly....for about two months as it was just before I went on my annorexic diet and my mountains soon diminished to barely molehills!

I'd definitely try on. I was originally measured as a 34D (in m&S) but then my boobies seemed to peek out at the top of the cups, so I went for 34DD, but then when I wore my strapless bra for a dress trying day, I was in agony, so went back to m&s and just tried a few on and have ended up with 36D which is perfect! I've never been confident in buying stuff like bras on the net - same with shoes - I much prefer to try before I buy!
