Radio stations

WickyWack, 12 March, 2013 at 14:06 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 20

So in my new workplace, everyone listens to music (through headphones) and I've so far listened to radio 1, kiss fm for the kisstory bit, absolute 90's

I don't really listen radio that much otherwise so could anyone recommend a station?

I have started listening to Mix 106.5 online (the San Jose one) and they play really good music.

Don't really listen to radio much at home. In the car, it's Classic, Radio 2 or Radio 4. At work I'd say 90% of our trucks are tuned to Heart which is fine in a mind candy sort of way. The rest are either Kerrang, which I don't change, Free, which depends on my mood, and some shite called Smooth which gets turned straight off!

In the car I listen to Heart or a cd, the only radio that's on at work is in the kitchen and is always on Radio 2.

When I used to be driving loads, all I'd listen to was Radio 4 and I would plan appointments around what was on ?

Now I listen to very little radio 'cos our office has no music or anything. I'll sometimes stick Radio 3 on in the house when I'm cleaning.

Hi Wickywack, I've drifted over from WP...

You could try We7 - it's a bit like Spotify, but it's free. I listen to this at work - you can tell it what you like to listen to and it will then play you a playlist similar to this, or you can pick one of their popular playlists.

    I listen to Radio 4.

And if I am working from home Radio 2 for Steve Wright in the Afternoon.

I like Kerrang, Classic FM and Jazz FM are my favourites. I have eclectic taste ?

If you're not convinced by radio, have a look at Spotify. I have loads of different playlists on there ready for whatever mood I happen to be in.

I really miss the old breakfast show with Danny Wallace, it used to be hilarious! We'll have to get a game of "£5 flat fee fine" going on Hitched instead...
