RAFFLE IN AID OF WHIZZ KIDS

I wondered if any of my fellow hitchers might be able to help me out here.

My friend is running the marathon for the Charity Whizz Kids and would like to raise lots of money for the charity. As a way of fund raising I thought I might set up a raffle on Hitched with all my fellow Hitchers from the Wedding industry possibly being able to donate their services in exchange for people purchasing a raffle ticket. As soon as all the tickets have been purchased (via Paypal) then we will draw the numbers out of a hat and whoever wins that prize will win a service :-)

Just intially I wondered if anyone would be interested in this and more importantly those who are skilled and talented whereby they may have soemthing to offer for free as a prize please come forward and let me know.

Thanks so much in advance for all your help and I hope with your help we can raise lots of money for a brill charity!

I don't have anything to offer for the prizes sadly

but i'd certainly buy a raffle ticket!

I am sure people wouldsupport, just haven't read it. try posting one specifically addressed to HIBs asking for donations

Sorry but on this occasion I'm not able to donate a prize. I've previously donated a lot to the raffles on hitched and also other charities and since there have been 2 big raffles on here in the last year I'm not able to donate again.

It might be a bit different if you were running the marathon! I might be a ticket but I think if this sort of thing happened a lot it would stretch the good will of even the kindest and most generous hitchers. I hope she managed to raise lots of money for her chosen charity though.

I realise its not directly for me but we are a team all the same and having trouble with getting money together for a worthy cause so I thought I would try Hitched :-) I have entered a few raffles on here previously which gave me the idea, but appreciate that not everyone can donate everytime as obviously you wouldnt make anything.

I just thought I would ask it is for a very good cause and anything will help us :-)

Hi 3d Jewellery

It looks like my pledge was un successful at this time, however we are doing an event in either colchester or rayleigh (essex) for the charity to try and raise lots of money which will cosist of a raffle there. I wondered if it might be possible to still donate your very generous £10.00 voucher for our raffle there? We will obviously let you know all the details of this raffle, but might be a lovely raffle prize if your still ok to donate.

I realise now it wont be on here you may not want to so if you could just let me know
