There is no solution to my story but I remember when me and my big sis (aged 5 and 9 at the time) were bridesmaids for my mums friend; My big sis was allowed to carry the brides train but I , jealous fiend that i was, wanted to too so we tugged over it a bit whilst walking up the aisle. I still remember 20 years on the daggers that the bride gave us when she turned around, I doubt anyone else even remembers but I do feel guilty about it, and no flower grils tugging over my train!!

My friends wedding....a few glasses too many, speech time and my friend (the bride) stands to slur a few words about her new husband. As she goes to sit down the groom (thankfully still her hubby) thinks it would be really funny to pull the chair away before she sits. The Bride ends up falling backwards ar$e over t*t with her legs in the air and knickers on display...all beautifully captured by the videographer!!

Needless to say that there were a few 'choice' words said the the sorrowful groom!!

For those brides who have been deliberating on whether to have a video of their day to capture those "special unique moments"....this might be your answer......?

    Sorry vids...I support you really...

One where the DJ thought it would be 'hilarious' to play the crazy frog song in its entirety followed by bob the builder instead of the actual first dance song. The groom walked off the dancefloor with his bride shouting 'f**king get back over here!'. Nice! Same wedding the registrar said the wrong name and also no food for the guests so people were leaving by 8pm as they were so hungry. A wedding I went to a few weeks ago the Groom's mother collapsed just after the service and they couldn't find a pulse for a bit, was pretty traumatic to say the least but fortunately she was fine and the paramedics said she was okay to carry on with the day.

As a planner/OTDC we see loads, maybe we should write a book.

Split up a fight between bestman and a mate

Chair covers didn't fit and the girl tried to blame the bride

Cake sunk because bride had used a "have a go" cakemaker, the MC stuffed the holes with kitchen paper

Bestman forgot his suit and had to travel 100 mile round trip to fetch it, therefore the bridesmaids were told to keep driving so the bride turned up to no bridesmaids
