Rape is a myth, says senior BNP figure

Mr JK, 1 April, 2008 at 13:51 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 51

quote:"To suggest that rape, when conducted without violence, is a serious crime is like suggesting that forcefeeding a woman chocolate cake is a heinous offence. A woman would be more inconvenienced by having her handbag snatched.

"The demonisation of rape is all part of the feminazi desire to obtain power and mastery over men. Men who go along with the rape myth are either morons or traitors."

More from this charming individual here (don't worry, the link is to a proper newspaper, not some unsafe-for-work Nazi hate site).

Sickeningly offensive though his words are, I'm glad it's being publicised, in order that the fuckwits who think that the BNP are a legitimate political option might think again.

Even more depressing is the fact that the many people who will vote for them next month either don't care or are too stupid to care about comments like that.

I doubt it, because it would be horrendously libellous if it was. Unless of course the BNP was in on the joke, but it's hard to think why they'd go along with something like this.

    Good grief.

I have read similar arguments from the opposite side- a small number of hardcore feminists who argue that non-violent rape has been demonised by a phallocentric society which believes penises are all-powerful. Of course that's nonsense as well, in my opinion.

The thing is, it's possible that he was being "deliberately provocative" in a kind of "Let's see what the feminazis make of this. Oh yeah, this will really wind them up" etc way, but even that is so beyond the pale.

Actually Im not shocked or surprised at all. I hardly expect to hear anything but totat loony offensive extremist clap trap from the BNP. Let them carry on blogging and reveal exactly what lies at the heart of their ethos.

I wonder how he would like being non-violently raped, idiot.

I don't really see how rape can be conducted without violence anyway - its an assault in itself surely, even if the victim is not assaulted in any other way.

Their web designer(BNP) has just left my husbands work. I have struggled on several occassions on being civil. The scariest thing I find is the wives and partners accept their beliefs, as many know we live in a tiny area and to run for council and put your kids through the bullying because of their fathers are biggots is dreadful. They really believe what rubbish they spill out.

I remember that (excellent) recent documentary The Poles Are Coming! and its interview with cretinous British yobs spouting the usual BNP nonsense about foreigners coming over and taking all the jobs because they'll work for 50p an hour. The interviewer said "would you like a job for £7 an hour?" and was initially told yes, only for them to backtrack once they realised it involved turning up early and working hard - which the Poles and Lithuanians were prepared to do.

When he first started my (stupid?) H would come home saying, did you know? etc. It made my blood boil, they really try to suck people in and as you say they are really playing the immigration card at the moment.
Apparently they have just come back from a meeting in spain as they're better recieved over there, can't understand why?

I particularly liked the earlier part of his post (you have to search for his blog to see it) which states 'It's well known that only 6% of rape cases results in a conviction - this means that 94% of rape allegations are made up'. There's a phrase for that kind of jump from statistic to conclusion that I can't remember - some kind of fallacy? Anyway it just proves that he's talking out of a lower orifice than his mouth.

I'm not sure I understand if there's such a thing as "non-violent rape"? Surely it's rape if one party doesn't consent? Threfore to continue anyway, wouldn't that be an act of violence against that party? It doesn't have to be physical violence as such does it?

Yeah, and you can't rape a bloke without giving him one up the gary, and that's unnatural, so it's rape. Unless they're poofs, when it isn't.

    Or something like that.

So in a nutshell, straight men can be raped, but women and gay men can't. I'm extrapolating here, but I'd be surprised if this wasn't broadly along the right lines.
